She is excited to be working for NBC’s “TODAY” from the Los Angeles bureau and contributing to daily coverage of the latest breaking news, consumer stories, and entertainment events, as well as tracking developments of ongoing stories and producing feature pieces.

Alexa began her career in news working at Fox News on the Media Desk where she quickly advanced her career within the company, proving herself as an invaluable asset in the newsroom. She is a quick learner, team player and truly understands what it takes to put a newscast together. While at Fox, she joined “Shepard Smith Reporting” and the Breaking News Unit where she helped to produce live coverage of the top stories making headlines including worldwide terror attacks in Brussels, Orlando, London, and Manchester. Her experiences at Fox also include political coverage, working solo on weekend overnights, training new production assistants on workflow and procedures, graphics production and booking.

Alexa initially moved to New York City after graduating from the University of Southern California, where she majored in Broadcast and Digital Journalism and minored in Cinematic Arts. During her college career, Alexa interned at NBC’s Today, Dateline, London Bureau, KTLA, KXTV and Style Media Group. After three years in New York, she returned home to Los Angeles. Outside of work, Alexa enjoys cooking, spin, traveling, reading, watching USC football, and spending time with her friends and family.
